MY STORY

Hi! 👋 | THANK YOU FOR VISITING MY SITE  

I am a Swedish Londoner with over two decades of experience as a strategic advisor to 100s of companies globally. I am passionate about partnering with entrepreneurs, businesses and people to grow, expand and co-create value together, make a lasting impact and elevate the frequency of humanity and the world.

I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN SWEDEN 🇸🇪

I grew up in a small town outside Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden. 
 

SPENDING A YEAR IN PARIS 🇫🇷

Working for a start-up, enjoying the Parisian lifestyle and studying French at the Sorbonne. I set up a marketing campaign that promoted and cross-sold their products to existing customers and started using the Internet as a sales channel. This helped them triple their revenue. I also met tons of amazing and beautiful people and ended up getting personal invites to private events at insane venues that blew my friends who were visiting away. My main takeaway from living in Paris was to enjoy life.

I TOOK THREE UNIVERSITY DEGREES 🎓📚

I loved learning, so while also working at a consultancy, and as a financial advisor at a bank and ended up taking three university degrees; engineering, finance & marketing. I also chaired a business association with 20k members for a few years and arranged and attended 100s of business seminars as I believe you learn so much from lunches and Q&A sessions with CEOs etc, than from a lesson in accounting.

WORKING WITH A CEO IN A TURNAROUND PROJECT IN GERMANY 🇩🇪

After graduation and armed with a Swedish-German dictionary, I started interviewing everyone on-site to figure out and understand their complex production process. Then analysed it all, worked on a model together with the CEO and could then pinpoint why and where they were losing money and how to adjust that to become profitable again. Working directly with the CEO taught me a lot about making quick and tough decisions and being extremely result-focused.

 

MOVING TO STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN WORKING FOR A SMALL STRATEGY BOUTIQUE 🇸🇪

While in Germany I was recruited to join a small strategy boutique in Stockholm.
I got to sit down with CEOs and C-suite to discuss strategy and challenges from the second week , and I loved it. The focus was on business innovation and creative blue-sky thinking, to co-create new innovative products, and services, identify needs and opportunities that were unmet, and creating solutions to address these, and set up partnerships and joint ventures to make it happen. Finding innovative ways to solve problems and create more value for clients, and the clients' clients. What I enjoyed the most was that there was no cookie-cutter solution to anything, it was all about bespoke, tailor-made solutions for each client and about how we could co-create value. I loved living in Stockholm, the lifestyle I was fortunate to have, and the calibre of people I met at work and outside of work. Used to organize small social gatherings at exclusive venues which was so much fun and was part of a few private elite networks. The theme was to work hard, train hard and play hard. 

MOVING TO LONDON, UK 🇬🇧

In 2004, I decided to move to London. I started freelancing for various consultancies, banks, Venture Capital, and Private Equity firms, including McKinsey, Goldman Sachs and EY. Fortunate to work with many FTSE 100 & S&P 500 clients, in various sectors, including Samsung, Microsoft, Google, Coutts & Co, BAA, Coca-Cola, Ferrari and Volkswagen to name a few. And have been working on many exciting strategic business projects, business partnerships and business acquisitions and exits.

WORKING WITH VENTURE CAPITAL, PRIVATE EQUITY AND STRATEGY BOUTIQUES

I worked with VC/PE to analyse potential acquisition targets, often in small and unknown niche markets. I analyzed the businesses, the opportunities, and the markets. Reviewing and identifying the red flags of the company's analysis and claim. 
 

WORKING WITH 100s OF CLIENTS
On the sell-side, I worked with BAA ie. to help with their initial sell-side analysis before they brought in a whole team from an investment bank, and before they were finally acquired by Macquarie Group.

SOME EXCITING PROJECTS I WORKED ON

  • Managed consulting team, and co-created a pitch deck that helped the owner sell a private manufacturing group for €400M

  • Advised a UK food manufacturing company to innovate and reduce production costs by 21%

  • Screened thousands of companies and initiated partnership discussions with the 10 most suitable firms in the UK and France for a US-based IT and military-grade Cloud service company

  • Generated millions of pounds & euros in additional sales revenue for a US-based IT and Cloud service company

PARTNERING WITH IMPACT, PURPOSE & LEGACY DRIVEN ENTREPRENEURS & INVESTORS

My current focus is to partner with purpose driven entrepreneurs, founders and business owners to help them raise capital to realise their visions and help them grow, scale or sell their businesses.

 

I focus a lot of time on projects that will benefit humanity; such as water treatment technology, sustainable energy, sustainable villages, etc.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS IN THE STORY SO FAR

100+ PRINCE SHOWS

I love music and consider Prince to be one of the best performers that ever lived. From 1990-2013, I experienced over 100+ shows, pre-shows, after-shows, private shows, charity events and soundchecks with Prince, in the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium and France. I loved how he could improvise, always kept improving, reviewed every performance, and never stopped getting better, pushing boundaries and lifting people around him to perform at their very best. He was a superconductor, immensely spiritual and funny. At an aftershow / party he even started doing hilarious stand-up comedy. I met and got in contact with lovely people all over the world thanks to him and his music and got to speak with him very briefly a handful of times. One of many stories was when I and my girlfriend at the time, was VVIP on a promotion show in London and we were standing on the balcony overlooking the floor seats and stage, and he suddenly left the stage, during the show, the band kept playing and suddenly a few minutes later he was next to us asking me "Nice band huh?" I replied "Yeah" and then before too many noticed he was there, he and his security guy quickly went back to the stage. Him coming over to where `i was standing at an after-show in Brussels and looking me in my eyes and making funny faces while playing guitar was hilarious. He was so funny. My favourite event was a small private charity event in London where I through some purple magic, was on the exclusive guest list, where I was next to him, and we were singing my favourite song, while both reading the lyrics from the monitor. A true legend. One thing that fascinated me was that I ALWAYS got tickets, even when they sold out in 8s, or that when I queued up for a late one-off gig in London, and did not get in, they played a second show, straight after, and I never ever missed an after show. I was so so connected and life in that world always flowed, always. The purple magic always worked. 

 

BEING A FULL-TIME DAD

2015-2018-, I spent 3 years as a full-time dad, 24/7/365. ❤️

This taught me a lot about seeing the magic in everything, prioritizing and focusing on what is important in life, using time better and shifting my perspective and priorities in life. 

COACHING MARKET RESEARCHERS, AND DOING QUALITY CONTROL

During 2019-2021 and lockdown, I worked with a few market research firms on various projects. while home-schooling my daughter. I helped prepare the projects, conducted high-level interviews with C-suite executives and did quality control of the interviews conducted by various research teams, in four different languages. I also coached researchers to help them continuously improve their skills and execute at the highest level. It was fun as the improvement was noticeable and fast.

SURVIVING CANCER THREE TIMES

From 2020- I have fought cancer three times 🥊

This helped me regain focus on what truly matters in my life and concentrate my energy and time accordingly. As I told my survival group, from one of the hospitals I have been to, "I feel that I live on borrowed time now. So, I better make it count". Genuinely grateful for every day I wake up, my daughter's smile, and the many people who shine up and say hello on our short walk to school. Extremely purpose-driven and I pray and seek opportunities to help, support and uplift people every single day. I constantly think about how I can add value, Currently, going through round IV of treatments (Dec. 2021- Dec 2024). Health is Wealth, and to quote Tony Robbins from a 3-day fire-walk event I attended, "Nothing beats feeling healthy". And going through these and other challenges alone has made me indestructible.

SURVIVING 50MIN of CARDIAC ARREST 💗

In February 2024, I Survived a cardiac arrest for over 50min. One of the benefits of this is that I realised even more how precious our time here on earth is, that my daughter, true love and the impact projects I am involved in are what made the decision to stay. There is also a campaign, called Sten's Law, for more defibrillators in public spaces, hotels, etc. on the outcome of this so hopefully we will be able to save more than 10 out of 100 people's lives.

PASSION FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT ✨

I believe in continuous learning and personal development and have been fortunate to learn from world-class people like; Anthony Robbins, Peter Sage, Dan Peña, Darren Hardy, T. Harv Eker, Jeremy Harbour, Carl Allen, Roland Frasier, Jay Abraham, Rob Moore and many, many more. I focus primarily on self-mastery, as nothing works unless you work. My spiritual journey has been vital, but also skills like M&A, property and dealmaking and am in various accountability groups and networks, as your environment beats will.

LOCAL COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT 

I enjoy being active in and supporting the local community.

I chaired the residents' association with over 3k members for over 3 years and was active in the management committee for 8 years. I am active in the PFA, at my daughter's school, and have founded and run various FB groups with over 10k members in total to create online communities for residents, local parents etc.

I enjoy creating, raising funds for and working with community gardens, and green spaces & arranging community events.
 

I project managed a local Summer Fayre event with 500 visitors, live music, local businesses and events for kids.

CHARITIES AND PRO BONO WORK

I am active in a few charities, including GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children), the Prince's Trust,  the Friends of King Edward VII's Hospital etc. I am also in the process of setting up a local charity that will focus on making the local area safer, cleaner and greener.

GROWING & SCALING BUSINESSES

I partner with entrepreneurs to help them fund, grow and scale their businesses and make their dream a reality. Have helped CEOs, Owners and entrepreneurs grow their businesses, enter new markets, build new partnerships and joint ventures, and develop existing & new services, offerings and revenue streams and I keep hammering the message of being more consumer-centric in everything and the importance of creating massive customer value and to have a purpose beyond profit; what else do you do?.  

PASSION, PURPOSE, CONNECTIONS

I have a passion for companies finding and having a purpose beyond profit that is aligned with their business. I see entrepreneurship as a force for good that can solve all of our challenges.

I am focused on helping business owners grow, scale and sell their businesses while preserving their legacy, hard work and good business reputation. 


I also help business owners prepare for a successful exit of their business. Most businesses are not ready to sell.

 

Passion for green spaces, entrepreneurship and value creation for customers, shareholders and stakeholders. People, Business, Planet. Win - Win - Win. I love seeing people thriving, growing and becoming successful. This is also why I do a bit of mentoring.
